Metro of Medellín
After 27 years of function, the Metro of Medellín decided to update technologically its train washing machine. This project involved multi-disciplinary fields such as mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, electrical, and automation. All the tasks involved 14 milestones to achieve the project goal.
As a contract supervisor, I was responsible for planning the resources and outsourcing to execute all the project milestones. At the same time, schedule all the activities, identify the possibles risk, and control the project's critical route. In addition, I had to manage and control the resources as materials and coordinate around twenty people to complete the activities by the deadline.

Mechanical system
This group of activities involved doing maintenance to eight geared motors and their mechanical bearings, painting the mechanical structures, and changing washing brush bristles and splash screens.
Pumping System
Modernize the washing system by designing new wash bows changing six hydraulic pumps, pipelines, and all the elements involved.

Control and Electrical System
Dimensioning and automating the washing control system and improving the interaction and maintenance of the train washing machine.
Washing machine
I not only achieved the project goal, but further, I decrease water consumption to wash the trains by almost 30%.
